Now Hiring!

INVST is now hiring experienced facilitators and inspired community leaders. Join our team as a Summer Program Facilitator or Operations Manager on our Climate Justice Augmester.Ìý

INVST provides community-based learning for eco-social transformation. Our small academic program is for ºÚÁÏÉçÇøÍø students from all majors.

INVST summer staff will work collaboratively on teams of 2-3, with 11-18 college students in each group. Staff will collaborate and draw from each other’s skillsets to co-create meaningful learning experiences during our Justice Summers.

In order to encourage INVST students to challenge their own limits, Summer Program Facilitators must support them through their learning journeys. We are seeking staff who will bring these key competencies to the table:

  • Professional experience leading or facilitating groups.

  • Extensive volunteer experience with non-profits, community-based organizations, activists and/or social movements.

  • Highly effective communication skills. Previous training and/or experience with non-violent communication and conflict resolution is highly desired, though not required.

  • Strong mentorship skills are required. We seek candidates who can demonstrate the ability to positively affect another human being’s life.

  • Ability to work effectively with groups and thrive in cooperation with people from different backgrounds. All candidates must be dedicated to learning and growth, be flexible, open to receiving feedback, and have a sense of humor.

  • We are looking for candidates with experience working with young adults. Professional experience traveling and guiding excursions and immersion experiences is highly desired.

Co-leading a Justice Summer with INVST demands great flexibility, dedication and commitment, and the rewards are numerous.
