Applications for our 2026 JD and Graduate-Level Engineering cohort are DUE MARCH 31, 2025. Please carefully follow the instructions below to submit your application.

II) Please prepare your application as follows:

  1. Cover Page
    • The first page should be a cover page with your first and last name only.听At the bottom of your cover page, please indicate whether you will be available for interviews during DCVF's regular meeting time from 7:30 am to 9 am on Thursday, April 3rd. This is for scheduling purposes only.
  2. Resume (1-page limit)
    • Please include a copy of your resume without your name. Applications will be presented 鈥渂lind鈥 for evaluation by the DCVF team.
  3. Experience & Perspective (1-page, single-spaced limit)
    • Please describe what life experiences motivate your interest in DCVF and what contributions you intend to make as a team member. These experiences need not necessarily be academic or career-related.
  4. Source & Analyze a Company to Pitch to DCVF (1-page, single-spaced limit)
    • Locate and research a Colorado-based, pre-seed/seed stage startup that you would consider a good candidate for investment for DCVF.
    • Please do not use a startup in our current DCVF investment portfolio, found here. Use the below suggestions to guide your analysis of that startup, focusing on the area(s) that you feel are most important to address. You are not limited to the suggestions below -- creativity is impressive!
    • Potential areas of due diligence: team, product, market, business model, finances, exit strategy, intellectual property, stage of company life cycle.
    • Note: CU students get , which is a powerful research tool.
