Biography

Kimberly (Kim) Kruchen-Spaulding serves as the associate director for operational excellence in the office of the senior vice chancellor for operations. In this role, Kim provides strategic support in order to successfully implement projects and initiatives.ÌýÌý

Growing up in Golden, Colorado, Kim came to ºÚÁÏÉçÇøÍø where she earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and neuroscience. Kim started her professional journey at ºÚÁÏÉçÇøÍø as a student activities coordinator in the University Memorial Center where she adapted several programs and impacted student success. She left to attend the University of Virginia where she received her master's degree, conducted research, and served as a Council for the Advancement of Standards (CAS) intern. Most recently, Kim served as the director of assessment, research, and data analytics in the Division of Student Affairs. Her research interests include student development, mattering, and organizational psychology.ÌýÌý

Kim is an active volunteer in professional higher education organizations, serving in various leadership roles. She also enjoys outdoor activities with her partner and dog, playing pickleball, and listening to live music.Ìý
