Please join usÌýin congratulating undergraduate student Heather Mahon, who was recently accepted into theÌýÌýas an English language teacher for Fall 2020. Heather is a double major in Physics and English and she is also pursuing theÌýTESOL CertificateÌýthrough the Department of Linguistics. The JET Program is competitive and involves a detailed application and interview process. JETs, as they're called, are placed at educational sites all over Japan in salaried positions. We look forward to finding out how Heather's JET experience goes and we'll be sure to share updates as they come!Ìý
