Ben wasÌýa PostdoctoralÌýresearcher in Environmental Engineering and is now an assistant professor at the University of Nevada Reno.ÌýHis research at ºÚÁÏÉçÇøÍø focusedÌýon understanding molecular-level responses of viruses and biofilm-bound bacteria under UVC irradiationÌýand UVC applications in water treatment and healthcare systems. Ben completed his Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering at University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. HisÌýdoctoral research focused on investigating trace organicÌýcontaminantÌýremoval and microbiomeÌýin biofiltration systems for drinking water production.Ìý
