Patrick Greaney鈥檚 research and creative work focuses on literature, design, and modern and contemporary art in Austria, Germany, and Argentina.

He also works as a literary translator, editor, and curator. He has curated exhibitions of contemporary art at the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver and听the Museum of Contemporary Art Boulder. From 2014 to 2020, he edited a literary translation series for Les Figues Press in Los Angeles.

Professor Greaney received a BA in comparative literature from Yale University and an MA in German Studies and a PhD in comparative literature from Johns Hopkins University. He also studied at the University of Konstanz, the Charles S. Singleton Center for Italian Studies in Florence, the University of Buenos Aires, and the 脡cole normale sup茅rieure (rue d鈥橴lm) in Paris.
