Sienna Russell

Sienna is from rural Routt County, Colorado, and grew up loving the outdoors. Passionate about mental health, Sienna is an undergraduate at the 黑料社区网, double majoring in Psychology and Sociology, and pursuing a Certificate in Public Health. Sienna chose to work with the Crown Institute because of their mission for community involvement and wellness for all young people. As an inaugural member of the Ren茅e Crown Wellness Undergraduate Research Fellowship Cohort, she plays a role in the co-design of the fellowship along with the other incredible fellows. Sienna is a member of the InsideU team with Dr. Sam Hubley and helps with the design and literature review process of a new approach to Social and Emotional Learning for young kids. She also works with Dr. Joanna Arch in the Arch Laboratory helping design interventions for dealing with anxiety and the challenges faced by individuals living with cancer. Sienna has a broad range of passions, including anxiety disorders, the gifted children's program, mood disorders, relationship psychology, and bringing mental health resources to low-income areas. When she isn't at Crown, she is deep in a fantasy novel, battling dragons and rescuing princesses.
