The two first grade lessons are based on the Spanish text, Tortillas y Cancioncitas, by Lunn Reiser and the English text, I Like Myself, by Karen Beaumont. For each of these lessons, we recommend using a shortened, modified text for the repeated readings after reading the entire text once as a read aloud either on or before the first lesson day.
