The UEP office is open Monday - Friday except for campus holidays. The best place to park is the Euclid Lot. See campus maps for more info.

Accessing Our Office by Foot

Enter Norlin library on the west (mountain) side. Take the right hand stairs up 2 1/2 floors, following signs to Undergraduate Enrichment Programs and Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP). Eventually you take a sharp right into a small hallway. Norlin S436 is at the end of it. Come into Norlin S436, a large lounge area.

Other Options

1. Come in the west entrance of the library. Go left. The elevator is in an alcove on your right. Go up to the 4th floor. Exit the elevator to the left and wind your way down the white hallway. There is a lift ramp in your view immediately.  Do not use that lift. Turn right and keep going until you get to a second ramp entrance to the second lift. Lift instructions are below.
2. From the east door take the elevator up to the third floor. Upon exiting the elevator go right heading to the west side of the library. Go through the Government Publications part of the library, take a right, and go down the hallway until you get to another elevator. Take the elevator to the 4^thfloor. Exit the elevator to the left and wind your way down the white hallway. There is a lift ramp in your view immediately. Do not use that lift. Turn right and keep going until you get to a second ramp entrance to the lift. Lift instructions are below.

Procedures for Using the Lift

Please follow rules and instructions below to operate the lift. For evening or weekend assistance, please contact Norlin Security at 303-492-5527.

1. If “In Use” icon is lit on the control box, please wait for the other user to fully exit the lift. The light will turn off when the lift is available for use again.
2. When ready to use, press and hold on the down arrow if on the 4^th floor or the up arrow if on the 4 ½ floor to bring the lift to your level.
3. Release the arrow button. The door will swing open.  Enter the lift.
4. Once inside the lift, press and hold the up arrow to go up or the down arrow to go down. To halt the lift’s movement, stop pressing the arrow button. In an emergency, pull the red knob marked “stop/emergency” and/or use the emergency call button.
5. When you reach your destination floor, release the arrow button. The door will open. Exit the lift.
